WORRE FREE PREVIEW SOFTWARE TERMS
1. Publisher and scope
Worre is provided by Binair CommV, Belgium, enterprise number 1001.167.385, contact info@binair.io. These terms concern the Worre Windows desktop preview. A separate written agreement takes precedence for the services and matters it expressly covers.
2. Permission to use
Subject to applicable law and these terms, Binair grants you a non-exclusive license to install and use the free preview for your personal or internal business purposes. Ownership of Worre is not transferred. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. Nothing limits rights to interoperability, observation, testing or other activities protected by law. Do not sell or sublicense Worre as your own product, distribute modified copies as official releases, or use it to access systems without permission.
3. Your account and organization
Connect only to projects you are authorized to access. If accepting on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to bind it; access to an Azure DevOps account alone does not establish that authority. Your organization controls permissions, approval policies, release procedures and production access. Worre uses your Microsoft identity and does not replace those controls.
4. Production decisions and cancellation of runs
Worre displays cached and periodically refreshed information. Information and notifications can be incomplete, delayed or incorrect. Before taking action, verify the run, branch, target environment, changes and approval information against Azure DevOps.
An approval can start a deployment. Approving a waiting run through Worre can also cancel older waiting runs on the same branch and approval gate, as shown in its cancellation preview. Check every affected run before confirming. Cancellation and deployment effects may not be reversible.
You and your organization are responsible for selecting and authorizing releases, assessing their suitability, and maintaining appropriate independent testing, access controls, backups and rollback procedures. Use of Worre does not transfer operational responsibility for your production systems to Binair.
5. Preview availability, updates and support
The free preview may contain defects and features may change. To the extent permitted by law, it is supplied as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. No service level or support response time is promised unless separately agreed in writing. This does not remove any mandatory support, update, conformity or other obligations that applicable law places on Binair.
Updates are distributed using signed release information. A signature confirms publisher and integrity, not the absence of defects. Donations support development and do not purchase particular features or a support agreement. Material changes to these terms must not be applied retroactively or treated as accepted merely because a person previously installed Worre.
6. Responsibility and limitations of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Binair is not liable for losses caused by your or your organization's incorrect approvals, run cancellations, environment selections, unauthorized use, misconfiguration, failure to verify release details, or failure to follow your testing, backup and recovery procedures, including resulting production outages or loss of data. This applies only to the extent the loss is attributable to those acts or omissions.
To the extent permitted by law, Binair excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or business interruption, arising from use of or inability to use the free preview. This provision does not exclude losses that applicable law does not permit Binair to exclude and does not establish that every production incident is the user's responsibility.
No provision excludes or restricts mandatory consumer protections or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prevents exclusion. No provision removes your right to seek a remedy that applicable law provides.
7. Third-party services and privacy
Microsoft Entra ID and Azure DevOps are independent services with their own terms and availability. Worre is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft or CatLight. See https://worre.dev/privacy.html for authentication, local data and server-side download logging. These terms do not authorize additional telemetry, tracking or access to your data.
8. Ending use
You may stop using and uninstall Worre at any time. Termination of permission for a material breach must comply with applicable notice and remedy rules. Ending use does not authorize Binair to delete your Azure DevOps data or change your production systems.
9. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Mandatory protections applicable to consumers in their country of habitual residence remain unaffected. No exclusive court or arbitration requirement is imposed here. Contact info@binair.io to raise a concern; this does not restrict any statutory complaint, court or other remedy.
